Travel expert warns holidaymakers over ‘free cabin bag’ confusion this summer

British holidaymakers are being warned not to assume Europe’s newly announced cabin baggage rules are already in force, as millions prepare to travel during the peak summer holiday period.

The warning follows widespread coverage of new EU air passenger rights approved in July, including changes relating to hand luggage and greater transparency around baggage costs.
